The Penya Barcelonista Binissalem celebrated last Friday, November 9, the commemoration of its 25th anniversary in an event that gathered around 140 members in this Mallorcan town. The event was attended by the Deputy Secretary of the Board of Directors of FC Barcelona, ​​Maria Teixidor, and former Barça players Juan Manuel Asensi, Joan Josep Estella and Miquel Angel Nadal. The celebration of the 25 years of the Peña de Binissalem had an important female role, as well as the presence of María Tejedor, the day became a tribute to the president of the peña, Àngela Lladó, who is in charge of the entity since its inauguration, as she reminded herself during the anniversary dinner: “They told me that I would be president for three months until they found someone to fill the position and it’s been 25 years.” Sister Lucía Caram, patron of the FC Barcelona Foundation, was also with the supporters of Binissalem after having made one of her talks about child poverty and the Invulnerable project in an event organized by the Santa María del Camí peña of Mallorca, and also Marta Simorra, member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Club, and Francesca Coll, Insular Director of the Heritage of the Consell de Mallorca, among many other members.
